Hello!
I work at Yahoo! Inc, currently developing standards, patterns and practices for designing HTTP/REST web services, with some of my time spent on trying out some ideas for building the infrastructure software for developing web services. Prior to Yahoo!, I worked as an architect at BEA Systems (now Oracle) developing open standards and leading product development.
I am an alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (India) for my Masters and Ph.D., both in Electrical Engineering, and J.N.T.U., Kakinada (India) for my B.Tech., also in Electrical Engineering.

Cycling
During my spare time, I like to ride my Orbea Orca, or go hiking. To accompany my Orca, I am also developing Cyclogz.com, a portal for sharing cycling logs. See here for my cycling logs. This site mashes up open APIs and software from Google, Yahoo, Garmin etc. and data downloaded from Garmin GPS devices to view/track cycling activities.
